In the beginning, it was a stone shaped like a tree. This tree had several branches, and on each branch, there were different types of designs. When the Kuawai was cut down, the stone tree also fell. After it had fallen, the first artisan sat on one of its branches to weave the first SEBUCAN. It is a tree from which each culture extracted its own designs.
